“I bought the older version x3i as it was made in the U.S. Unfortunately, my Life Fitness x3i has only proven to be extremely unreliable. The rear end fly wheel has shorted on a couple occasions. I’ve also had problems with the elctonic console quitting half way through my workout. Service technicians get real expensive when the machine is out of warranty so I fixed the fly wheel myself..but not the console. I’m not sure what elliptical to recommend. Precor ellipticals are good yet they’re too large for any bedroom and I don’t line the ‘ellipse’ motion.
